Borough Council and Surrey Archaeological Society and supported by in-kind contributions from
Quest (of Reading University), ASE (University of London), University of Nottingham, Surrey

Friends of Woking Palace, has been set up to learn more about this nationally important medieval
site. Discoveries during 2009 and 2010 include evidence of an early manor house, of

held on Sunday 31st July to allow the public to see what is discovered by
this year’s excavations through guided tours which ran from 11am to 4pm.
