Below are events where you can learn more about Woking Palace, medieval & Tudor history, and the work of the Friends of Woking Palace.

9th September (Thursday)

Henry VIII: Dynasty and Power in Tudor England. An introduction to the documents of Henry VIII's reign through the story of his struggles to secure personal power, to make the right marriage, and to pass the crown to a male heir.

Venue: The National Archives, Kew, Surrey. 2pm - 3pm. FREE. For more details www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/events.

16th September 2010 (Thursday)

Social at the Sovereigns. Meet up with members of the Friends for a chat, drink and a curry.
