Beaufort Infant School The name of Lady Margaret Beaufort lives on in the name of this Woking school. 
Bisley History and Genealogy Bisley History and Genealogy
Brookwood Cemetery Society A voluntary group dedicated to the preservation, history and appreciation of the Cemetery.
Council for British Archaeology in the South East  A means of accessing information about local archaeological activities and events, as well as providing links to other CBA sites
Domestic Buildings Research Group An independent group of volunteers engaged in the study and recording of traditional domestic architecture. The Group study, by invitation, old houses, cottages and other domestic and farm buildings, mainly in Surrey.
English Heritage Permission must be obtained from English Heritage  for  any work undertaken on Woking Palace.
Epsom & Ewell History & Archaeology Society Encourages interest in the archaeology and history of Epsom & Ewell.
Heritage Lottery Fund The body which distributes a share of the income from the National Lottery to projects aimed at preserving and making accessible the nation's heritage.
Historical Association The Historical Association is the voice for history, bringing together and representing people who share an interest in, and love for, history. The West Surrey Branch normally meets at The Friends Meeting House, North Street, Guildford.
Horsell Residents Association Formed in 1965 as a non-political group open to all adult residents of Horsell (an area now of some 4,500 households in the combined wards of Horsell West and Horsell East & Woodham) in the Borough of Woking, Surrey. It represents over 12% of the borough, but exists as the independent voice of Horsell
The Lightbox The new name for what used to be known as Woking Galleries. Notwithstanding the name, the charity is still be a permanent museum of Woking’s history. The museum opened on 14th September 2007.

Phillimore The definitive book on Woking’s history is A History of Woking by Alan Crosby. This new publication is available from Phillimore, the publishers, for £18 on-line or £20 at local bookshops.
Pyrford A short history of Pyrford
Queen Elizabeth’s School A school founded at Wimborne Minster in 1497 by Lady Margaret Beaufort as part of a chantry bequest remembering her parents, John Duke of Somerset and Margaret Beauchamp who were buried in the Minster. 
Rastatt (in German) Woking’s German Twin Town. They are working on an English version of their website.
Rural Ways is the gateway to the south east for the active visitor. The site offers useful links to its county council partners and the regions Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walkers, cyclists and equestrians can find information on how to get here, where to stay and what to do. As well as a countryside calendar of events, the regions farmers markets are listed and the site offers  information on popular attractions
